i had a dream that it was somewhere in a big auditorium kind of thing. roll numbers were divided and he (my ex) is in the first half while i was in the second. (it was like that back then). we were done with the class or whatever and came out and everyone were outside. i ignored him so hard and i guess not trying to look at eachother. i just straight up ignored him. it’s been two years since we last saw eachother. a lot has happened for him like being married and moving on while i took my time. why should i dream of him? what does it even mean?
Dreaming about an ex-partner, especially in a setting like a classroom or auditorium, can evoke a lot of complex emotions and memories. In your dream, the divided roll numbers symbolize the separation and the different paths you both have taken since your relationship ended. Here’s a detailed interpretation of the elements of your dream:
Auditorium Setting: An auditorium often represents a space of learning and reflection. It suggests that there might be unresolved lessons or emotions connected to your past relationship. The setting indicates that even though much time has passed, there may still be reflections on what you both experienced together.
Roll Numbers Divided: The division of roll numbers indicates a clear separation between you and your ex. It signifies how you both have moved on in your respective lives, and the distancing symbolizes the emotional barriers you've intentionally put up. This separation may also reflect feelings of unresolved tension or unfinished business between you two that you have yet to face.
Ignoring Each Other: Your conscious decision to ignore him in the dream points to several possible emotions. Firstly, it could represent your desire to move on, asserting control over your emotions. Ignoring him may symbolize a need to protect yourself from feelings of nostalgia or heartbreak associated with the past. It may also reflect a feeling of rejection or the need to enforce boundaries for your mental wellbeing since he has moved on in a significant way.
Time Apart: The two-year gap since you last saw each other is significant. It may indicate that you’ve taken the necessary time to heal, but it also raises the question of whether you have truly moved on or if there are lingering feelings. The dream could suggest that you are still processing the end of that chapter, despite the time that has passed.
His Life Changes: His new marriage and moving on showcase a stark contrast to your own journey. This could evoke feelings of inadequacy or reflection on your own progress. The dream may be prompting you to reflect on your emotional state and to evaluate how you perceive your own growth in light of his changes.
Emotional Closure: Overall, dreaming of an ex signifies that you are working through layers of emotions regarding your past relationship. It might be helpful to consider the lessons you have learned and how you can apply these insights moving forward. The dream suggests a necessity for emotional closure or acceptance regarding your past, even if it means acknowledging the discomfort that may still linger.
In conclusion, your dream about your ex reflects your inner emotional landscape regarding him and your past relationship. It's an opportunity to acknowledge your feelings, reflect on your personal journey, and ultimately find peace in the transition you’ve both undergone. Embrace this awareness as a step towards your own growth and healing.
